He is survived by: his wife Linda Whitaker; his children, Amanda Lamar (Antonio) of Sandersville, GA, Stephanie Timmons (Jake) of Efland, NC and Steve Whitaker Jr. (Cindy) of Hinesville, GA; his grandchildren, La'Tuya Brown (Taylor), Sysco Whitaker, Malik Whitaker, Kayla Timmons, Stephon Whitaker, Te'Amber Lamar, Alajah Timmons, Torryiah Whitaker, Jake Timmons III and Sincere Whitaker; his great grandchildren, Summer Brown, Naomi Whitaker and Adaiah Whitaker; his siblings, Debra Sanders of Sandersville, GA and Dan May of Toledo, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Shirely Robinson, Sandra Devero (Phillip), Louise Whitaker, Betty Burnett and Novella Whitaker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
