Though Sarah Bowen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sarah Bowen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Boyd Armstrong; and her sisters, Peggy Bowen Sheppard and Mary Jane Bowen Crook. She is survived by: her son Danny Watkins (Shannon) of Tennille; her granddaughters, April Watkins Gay (Jeremy) of Blythe, Kristin Watkins Coe (Don) of Brooklet and Kaylee Watkins of Statesboro; her great grandchild Sadie Gay; and her brother Donnie Bowen (Sandra) of Tennille. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zeta Cemetery.
