She is survived by: her children, Larry Gene Veal of Tennille, Joan Veal McDonald Tennille (Johnny), West Veal of Tennille, Ceresa Veal Parker (Bobby) of Gibson and Alex Veal, Jr. (Barbara) of Tennille; her grandchildren, Amy V. Meadows (Kevin), Laura V. Williford (Travis), Ryan Veal (Megan), John McDonald III, Brittney P. Watkins (Lewis) and Falyn Parker; her stepgrandchildren, Tara Avant and Michelle Shaw; her siblings, Annette Brantley McEachin of Swainsboro, Alfred Brantley (Patsy), Catherine Brantley Adams of Tennille, Louise Brantley Hutcheson (Frankie) of Milledgeville, Lester Brantley of Warthen, Charlene Brantley Goss of Savannah, Linda Brantley Helton and Howard Brantley (Susan) of Sandersville; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Brantley of Savannah, Martha Yates Darity (John) of Tennille and Ted Veal (Theresa) of Sandersville. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren.
