It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melton Thomas Jones of Tennille, Georgia, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sanford Jones and Anna B. Jones Giles. He is survived by: his wife Betty Holmes Jones; his daughters, Sharon Jones and Dianna Armstrong (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Daniel Kay, Erica Kay and Wilson Armstrong; and his siblings, Elanor Smart (Everett), Diane Tatum (Wayne) and Hal Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Cemetery Fund, 3078 Mt. Gilead Rd. Tennille, Georgia.
