He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Alex Veal (G. A.) and Kattie Rosalind Brantley Veal; and his brother Larry Gene Veal. He is survived by: his fiancée Wanda Todd Stovall of Tennille; his fiancée's children, Cristal Everett (Chris), John Mathis, Gerrald Mathis, Billie Jean Conklin (Michael) and Ronnie Stovall (Sierra); his siblings, Joan Veal McDonald (Johnny) of Oconee, Ceresa Veal Parker and Gene Alex Veal, Jr. (Barbara) of Tennille; and also, Austin Peacock, Laney Peacock, Jase Everett, Skylar Conklin, Levi Conklin, Tucker Bo Conklin, Emmett Stovall and Easton Stovall.
