She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Hooks; her sons, Eddie Lee Hooks, Johnny Hooks and Roosevelt Hooks; her grandchildren, Markeisha Gibbons and Quartez; and her brother Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Annie Moment, Dorothy Daniel, Shirlene Gibbons, Tommy Hooks and Sylvester Hooks; and her grandchildren, Moneyque Moment, Angela Moment, Antonio Hooks, DuartezDaniel, Larry Gibbons, Ricardo Taylor, Ashley Hooks, Ericka Kitchen and Antonio Lovett. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
