It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emory Howard Young of Tennille, Georgia, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Newman Young and Nell Pool Young. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Studdard Young; his sons, Robert Gary Young (Dorothy) of Sandersville, Patrick Brian Young of Kennesaw, Jonathan William Young (Christina) of Statesboro and Christopher Joseph Young (Haley) of Macon; his grandchildren, Finley Young, Pierce Young and Lucas Young; and his brothers, Charles Pool Young (Sandra) of Sandersville and Joe Russell Young (Yong Sun) of Eatonton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church (154 Mt Gilead Rd, Tennille, GA 31089). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Mr. Young's memory to Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church at 154 Mt. Gilead Church Road, Tennille GA 31089.
