She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Ivey Tanner and Mary Lizzie Garner Tanner; her son Otis Claxton, Jr.; her grandson Travis Claxton; and her siblings, Billy Tanner of Roy Tanner, J. W, Donald Tanner, Fred Tanner, Cecil Tanner, Mickey Tanner, Mary Ann Fanning, Barbara Edwards, Judy White and Lynn Harrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Nesbitt (Eric) of Tennille; her grandchildren, Brandi Claxton (Preston) of Mitchell and Otis Claxton III (Daphne) of Sandersville; her great grandchildren, NaKayla, Layla, Alanna, Daylen, Zeaveah, Kylee and Travis; her sister Betty Jackson of Wrightsville; and her niece Krystal Edwards of Wrightsville.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Kite City Cemetery.
