She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eugene Sumner and Nitha Zimmie Tyson Sumner; her brother Dan; and her significant other Harry Veal. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Veal (Mary) of Johns Creek, Jo Veal of Atlanta, Jane Bedingfield (Barry) of Bogart, Judy Rice of Atlanta and Jean Miller (Neal) of Evans. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
