He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Holmes Smith and Bessie Crabb Smith; his sister Faye Smith Davis; and his niece Cindi Haywood Garner. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Smith Haywood of Tennille and Connie Smith Garnto of Tennille; and his nieces and nephews, Ricky Haywood (Dale) of Sandersville, Denise Parker (Carlton) of Tennille, Tracy Caneega (Carl) of Wrightsville, Jody Garnto of Tennille and Terri Wilkes of Kathleen.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zeta Cemetery.
