He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon "Red" and Rubie Dell Mills Steptoe; and his wife Brenda Passmore Steptoe. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Lynn Steptoe Mitchell (Joey) of Brooklet; his stepdaughter Renee Wise (Ivan) of Sandersville; and his grandchildren, Autumn Nicole West of Brooklet, Avery Scott West of Brooklet, Austin Troy Mitchell of Brooklet and Aaron Joseph Mitchell of Brooklet.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Steptoe to Good Sheppard Church of the Nazarene at 316 E. South Central Ave, Tennille, GA 31089 or East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center Mission Fund at 204 Hawkins Street, East Dublin, GA 31027.
