She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Staten and Elizabeth Driggers Staten; her daughter Tonya Silvers; and her siblings, Kethion Preavette, Robert Preavette, Shelia Staten and Sharon Nicholson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Kendrick of Crandall, GA and Robin Kendrick of Dalton, GA; and her siblings, Tommy (Thelma Preavette), Jackie (Lynn Page), Angel Page of Dalton, GA and Sonia Powers of Crandall, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
