He was predeceased by: his wife Sunny Neese; his parents, J. W. Neese and Elda Neese Bentley; and his siblings, Margie Neese Murphy and Jerry Lee Neese, Sr..

He is survived by: his son Douglas Neese; his stepchildren, Ken McKibben (Kelly), Kim Kornblatt (Norman) and Kearey Crisp (Laura); and his siblings, Joseph W. Neese and Janie Neese Dobbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
