He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Rush and Eva Mae Goldin Rush; his sons, Tony L. Rush and Joseph N. Rush; and his siblings, Sarah Ann Rush, J. E. Rush, Bobby Gene Rush, Harold Rush, Billy Rush, Donald Rush and Marlin Rush.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Ruth Kinsey Rush; his children, Steve A. Rush (Sharon) of Powder Springs, David W. Rush (Kathy) of Carrollton and Jeanette R. Hutcheson (Steve) of Temple; and his sister Betty Jane Rush of Bremen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
