He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Morris and Ellen Morris (Parrish); and his daughter Shailene LeAnne Morris. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Morris (Elrod) of Temple; his sons, Matthew Morris of Canton and Shannon; his daughter-in-law Annie Thomason of Temple; and his grandchildren, Conner Thomason and Stella Thomason.
