It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephanie Sowders of Temple, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles and Whilamena Mae Darnell Harris; and her brother Myron Harris. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Sowders; her children, Ashley Gilham (Lisa Ann) of Brookhaven, Steve Sowders (Robin) of Bremen, Kevin Gilham (Susan) of Concord, Justin Sowders of Rockmart and Kimberly Sowders of Marietta; and her siblings, Johnny Harris, Jr. of Covington, Victor Harris (Libby) of Ellijay, Kim Green (Ricky) of Buchanan and Shawn Pierce of Douglasville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
