He is survived by: his parents, John Ronald Eberhart of Australia and Mary Ellen Agbaba Eberhart of Fairbanks, Alaska; his wife Lisa Smith Jones-Eberhart of Temple; his children, Shawna McCumby of Alaska, Audra Jones of Charlottesville, Virginia, Riley Jo Jones of Villa Rica, Spencer Jones of Villa Rica, Caleb Eberhart of Auburn and Dominick Eberhart of Temple; his brothers, John (Sylvia Eberhart), James (Vickie Eberhart) and David Eberhart of Australia; and his grandchildren, Trenton McCumby, Hayden McCumby and June Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
