He is survived by: his wife Shannon Hummer of Temple; his daughters, Katie Hummer of Carrollton and Emily Hummer of Temple; his mother Jutta Harstead; and his stepfather Berkley Harstead of Michigan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
