He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Clay and Dorothy Clay (Shepherd); his wife Tina Clay (Romans); and his brothers, Ralph Charles Clay, Sr. and Ed Reese.
He is survived by: his daughter Samantha; his son-in-law Jason Jones of Powder Springs; his siblings, Danny Clay of Villa Rica, Michael Clay of Temple, Lee Clay of Villa Rica, Shelia (Billy Wilbanks) and Tammy Lanham of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Chase Jones and Kelsie Jones.
