With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Smith of Temple, Georgia, born in Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Sanders and Viola Sanders; her husband Stanley Gene Smith; and her brother Robert Sanders. She is survived by: her siblings, Merina Sanders of Cedartown, GA, Mary Robinson of Rockmart, GA, Goldin Sanders (Sue) of Cedartown, GA and Joyce Gibb (Warren) of Kennesaw, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Smith safe.
