She was predeceased by: her parents, Raynor Potate and Hattie Potate (Morris); her husband Earl Cannon Dunaway; her daughter Joann Harmon; and her siblings, David Potate and Sandra Whorton.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan; her sons-in-law, Jimmy Tidwell of Temple and Lester Harmon of Temple; her brother Larry; her sister-in-law Polly Potate of Temple; her sister Gail; her brother-in-law Doug Keith of Hiram; her grandchildren, Crystal (Jason Bice), Carol (Barry Shumake), Stacy (William Shiery), Eric (Spring Tidwell), Candi (Aaron Wilson) and Jessica Cole; and her great grandchildren, Gerald Shumake, Taylor Shumake, Rylee Bice, Alex Tidwell, Adrian Tidwell, Victoria McDonald, Alice Shiery, Abbie Wilson, Addie Wilson, Lydia Wilson, Cherish Wilson, Karyce Wilson and Benjamin Wilson.
