She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton D. Plymale and Lois C. Abercrombie Plymale; her husband Ernest Clyde Cook; her daughters, Vickie L. Clark and Ernestine Kate Gay; her grandsons, Robert Hopgood and Paul Roberts; her son-in-law Frank Gay; and her siblings, Bill Abercrombie and Joann Johnson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Melisa Palmour (Howard), Brandie Roberts, Renee Lindsay, Angel Gay and David Gay; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Ethan, Tyler, Justin, Josh, Alex and Tristan; and her siblings, Betty, Tuney Glisson, Mary Darby and Dirt Abercrombie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Minnie Kate's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Researh Hospital.
