He was predeceased by: his father Kirby R. Simmons; and his sister Carol McManus. He is survived by: his mother Helen Bradley Simmons of Villa Rica; his wife Fu Jung Lin Simmons of Temple; his son Marco; his daughter-in-law Yoko Lin of Dunwoody; his granddaughter Amy Lin; his siblings, Wanda Hollis of Acworth, Tammy (Larry Tolbert) and Jeff; and his sister-in-law Debbie Simmons of Villa Rica. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
