It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Hubert Smith of Temple, Georgia, born in Douglasville, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hubert Smith and Erma Ruth Stovall Smith; his daughter Laura Ann Smith Reeves; and his half-siblings, Earnest Smith and Florence Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Smith (Peggy) of Temple; his son Todd Smith (Stacy) of Temple; his brother Jimmy Leon Smith of Florence, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Ruthie Reeves of Carrollton, Tristen Smith of Temple and Rex Smith of Temple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions in his memory be made to their favorite charity.
