He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Lawrence Darnell and Barbara Lovanda Strickland Darnell. He is survived by: his wife Susan "Sue" Elizabeth Morgan Darnell; his children, Kelly (Richard Robinson), Jennifer (Jon Cadwell), Karey (Daniel Martin) and John Darnell of Villa Rica; his brother Bobby; and his sister-in-law Karrie Darnell of Lithia Springs. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.
