He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Vaughn, Sr. and Ruby Evans Vaughn; and his brothers, Michael Vaughn and Allen Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Imogene Rush Vaughn; his daughter Lynne; his son-in-law Neil Kittle of St. Augustine, Florida; his grandson Bradley Kittle (Brianna Nolan) of St. Augustine, Florida; and his siblings, Linda (Sam Pyle), Debbie (Tony Cole), Billy (Cheryl Vaughn), Gary (Ruth Vaughn), Jerry Vaughn of Carrollton and Steve Vaughn of Carrollton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
