He is survived by: his wife Lalitaben Patel; his children, Bhavini Patel, Dharini Patel, Ritu Patel and Praful Patel; his sisters, Jasodaben Patel, Champaben Patel, Deepakben Patel and Manjulaben Patel; and his grandchildren, Prutha, Himahi, Mahi, Harsh, Rutva, Niel, Yuti, Hiya and Dhan. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
