We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2022, at the age of 81, Ellis Ray Campbell of Temple, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Campbell and Nellie May Campbell; his sister Hazel Campbell; and his son David Spinks. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Campbell; his sons, Kenneth Campbell of Winchester, Tennessee, Tim Campbell of Chatsworth, Georgia and Richard (Tonya Spinks); his daughter-in-law Luanne Spinks of Ohatchee, Alabama; his siblings, Pat Campbell of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Fred (Helga Campbell), Raymond (Mildred) and Linda Campbell (Harriett Leffel) of Huntsville, Alabama; and his grandchildren, TJ Campbell, Richard Jr., Curtis Spinks, Jessica Duke and Tiffany Wade. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Kidney Fund http://www.kidneyfund.comin keeping with Mr. Rays wishes, his body will be cremated and there are no services to be held.
