He was predeceased by: his parent Odies Motes; his son Shane Motes; and his sister Donna Motes. He is survived by: his parent Glenis Everett Farmer; his grandchild Baptist; his wife Angeline Karr Motes; his children, Crystal Motes, Ricky (Renee Fitts) and David (Sandy Motes); and his siblings, Deborah Fain, Janice Sanders, Janie Blanton and Doug Motes.
