He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herman Estes and Gladys Adamson Estes. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hickman; his son Rhett; his daughter-in-law Melanie Estes; his daughter Paige; his son-in-law Mark Wessinger; his nephew Gregory Stoeckig (Margarita); his brother Michael Estes; and his grandchildren, Seth, Hannah Wessinger, Peyton, Chad Jenkins, Cody Estes, Claire, Kip Copeland and Carlie Estes. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
