He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Turner and Alma Zue Batson; his brother Loyd Batson; his wife Carol Turner (Whatley) of Temple; and his sons, Wayne David Batson of Nashville, Robert Turner of Pell City and Daniel Batson.
