He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wallace Barnhill and Mildred Barnhill (Sanders) of Virginia; and his siblings, Ronnie Barnhill, Michael Wayne Barnhill and Pamela Barnhill Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Barnhill (Southerland) of Temple, GA; his children, Bryan Shaun Barnhill of Temple, GA and Penny Barnhill Chaffins; his granddaughters, Ashley, Savanna and Faith; his great grandchild Caroline (Barnhill) of West Columbia, S. C; and his sister Margie Barnhill Brown of Douglasville, GA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
