We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 79, Billy Joe McCoy of Temple, Georgia, born in Cameron, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George James McCoy and Lena Mae Hubbard McCoy; his former wife Carole Annette Palmer; his granddaughter Brianna Castillo; and his brothers, George Lewis McCoy and Clarence Wayne McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Richards McCoy; his children, VonSelle Castillo of Villa Rica, Darlene Thornhill of Rockmart, Annette Frazier (Michael) of Canton and Joe McCoy (Carrie) of Ellijay; and his siblings, Mary Ella McCoy, Dorothy Mae McCoy, William McCoy and James McCoy. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
