She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee Lindsey (Hessie) and Hessie A. Morgan Lindsey; her husband Glynn Lindsey; her children, Miss Vickie Hicks, Jim Hicks, Mike Hicks and Randy Hicks; her great grandchild Joshua McDurmon; her siblings, Willie Sorrells, Ruby Pollett, Mrs Joe Baxter, Emily Turner and George Lindsey; and her children-in-law, Billy McDowell, Andy Holloway and Linda Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hicks (Deborah), Vivian Ward (Harlan) and Sue Holloway Watkins (Calvin); and her niece Sandra. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132).
