It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Rodgers of Temple, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Lee Gowder and Margie Butler Cook. She is survived by: her husband Timothy "Tim" Fredrick Rodgers of Temple; her son Kevin; her daughter-in-law Paula Rodgers of Temple; her brother Rodger Gowder of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her grandson Alex (Ashley Rodgers); and her great grandchildren, Isaac and Mason.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Kennesaw Memorial Park (1306 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064).
