He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Maebelle Melton and Stanford McKinley Williams (Margaret Williams); and his siblings, James Williams and Virginia Harbin. He is survived by: his children, Jannan Akins (William H.) of Lithia Springs, GA, Marla Williamson (Bryan) of Dallas, GA, Jeffrey D. Williams (Tonya) of Kennesaw, GA and Gregory A. Williams (Trayce) of Canton, GA; and his sister-in-law Janice Bailey (Michael). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church (63 GA-101, Temple, GA 30179). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
