He is survived by: his wife Jan Chappell; his children, Van Chappell (Teresa) of Taylorsville, Jimmy Chappell (Lynette) of Kingston, GA, Judy Black (Allen) of Taylorsville, Curtis Stover (Meg) of Taylorsville and Laura Huth of Taylorsville; and his sisters, Sarah Cain, Jane Carter, Brenda Copeland and Sharon Morrow. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and sever nieces and nephews.
