It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Lewis Long of Taylorsville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willie B. Long and Fred Sutton Long; his parents, Ima Rudene Long and Frank Lewis Long; his siblings, Frank "Buck" Sutton Long, Carol Ann Lusk and Richard "Ricky" Joseph Long; and his uncle Paul Long.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Blake Long (Kimberly) and Brandi Marie Long; his grandchildren, Alexus Grace Long and Adriane Wynette Mae Long; his sisters, Mary Yvonne Moore and Rhonda Jean Lamas; his uncles, Max Long and Fred Long; and his aunt Carolyn Biddy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Samuel Long's memory for Gracie and Adriane's college fund.
