It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ables Harris of Taylorsville, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Ivy Harris; her son Donnie Harris; and her sisters, Betty Jean Lenio and Gwendolyn Louise Cocklereece. She is survived by: her sister Nell Ables Buchanan. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial gifts be made to the Floyd Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 241 Taylorsville, GA 30178.
