She is survived by: her father Simpson Simpson; her children, Michelle Barkley (Willie) of Taylorsville, GA, Robert Gowens (Dana) of Long Beach, MS and Hunter Gowens (Alicia) of Milton, FL; and her siblings, Zella Fleming of Rockmart, GA and James Simpson of Cedartown, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
