He is survived by: his wife Patsy Platt of Tate; his son Doug Platt of Jasper; his daughter-in-law Robyn Platt of Jasper; his children, Richard Platt of Tate and Darlene Wallace of Epworth; his son-in-law Ron Wallace of Epworth; his daughter Denise Lavender of Canton; and his grandchildren, Jacob Lavender, Harley, SonMi Platt, Sarah, Husband, Donnie Crofts, Matthew, Jennifer Wallace, Andy, Christie Wallace, Christopher, Amanda Platt, Daniel Platt and Donovan Platt.
