She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey Simons and Loyce Poole Simons. She is survived by: her husband Carl Monroe Cowart of Tarrytown; her daughter Carla Cowart Mooney (Steve) of Palm City, FL; her sister Sybil Petty (Bob) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Alex and Erin Mooney; her niece Angie Youngblood (Jason); and her great-nephew Ty Youngblood.
