He was predeceased by: his parents, John Estel and Mary Magdaline Macabee Moore; his son Charles E. Moore Jr. "Chuckie"; and his brothers, George, Richard and Gary Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Moore of Tarrytown, GA; his children, John T. Moore (Janet) of Stephens City, VA, Phillip H. Moore of Staunton, VA and Deborah Keene (Kevin) of Belington, WV; his siblings, Bill Moore (Jan) of Tarrytown, GA, John Moore (Shirley) of Wayne, WV and MaryAnn Olinger (Harry) of Williamsburg, VA; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Tom, Lauren, John, Faith, Kayla and Chuckie. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
