He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Harold Martin and Kathleen Justus Martin; his siblings, W. A. Martin, Danny Ray Martin, Mildred Daniel and Linda Sue Massey; and his wife Melinda Gunter Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Martin (Cindy) of Monroe, Ricky Harold Martin of Winder and Robby Goss (Ron) of Jefferson; and his siblings, Marie Martin of Cleveland, Summie Martin of Gainesville, Roger Martin of Talmo and Dennis James Martin of Talmo.
