He was predeceased by: his brother William Darryl Propes. He is survived by: his parents, John B. Propes and Barbara Whiting Propes; his wife Carrie Propes of Talmo; his sons, John Derrick (Nicole Propes), Brandon (Ashley Propes) and Casey (Allison Propes); his grandchildren, Lily Grace Propes, Wesley Propes, Taelynn Propes and Paisley Propes; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law J. T. Pirkle of Flowery Branch. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
