She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knox and Catherine Knox; and her brother John Knox. She is survived by: her husband Elias "Lee" Nicholas Mavroleon; and her stepchildren, Paul Nye, Cynthia Lynn Nye, Nicholas E. Mavroleon and April Jean Wuller. She is also survived by four step grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Barbara's memory to the Tallulah Falls Fire Department.
