He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Parks Swann and Virginia Bolden Swann; and his siblings, Peggy Smith, Susie Holloway, Pam Butler, Charles Swann, Larry Swann and Jimmy Swann.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Lane of Calhoun, Barry Swann of Tallapoosa, Vickie Swann of Elk Creek, MO, Royce Swann of Springfield, MO, Charlotte Luffman (Ronnie) of Armuchee and Sean Rutherford of Lula; his siblings, Pat Newbern (Ronald) of Douglasville, Donnie Swann of Bremen and Tony Swann of Carrollton; and his close friend Priscilla Lynn. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
