He is survived by: his children, Beth Scott of Muscadine, AL and Kevin; his daughter-in-law Monica Blackmon of Tallapoosa; and his siblings, Dale Patterson of Buchanan, Anne Bannister of Buchanan and Perry Littlefield of Taylorsville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
