With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eddie D. Clark of Tallapoosa, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clark and Ina Padgett Clark; his son Dale Clark; his sisters, Sandy Turnipseed, Jackie Jackson and Trina Clark; and his sister-in-law Diane Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bennett Clark; his daughters, Angela Tuchscherer (Jeff) and Cynthia Grantham (Layne); his grandchildren, Erica Klimp, Alisha Klimp, Chelsea Hegenwald (Ross), Shane Tuchscherer, Alana Tuchscherer, Emily Ferrell (Josh) and Abbey Cleveland (Matt); his great grandchildren, Beau Ferrell, Rhett Ferrell, Tuck Thigpen, Smith Hegenwald and Hallie James Hegenwald; his sisters, Kristy Loy, Jody Yohn (Tom), Millie Clark and Dena Strickland; and his brother-in-law Ronny Bennett (Marie).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Hills Baptist Church (2079 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery. A reception was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Hills Baptist Church (2079 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sunset Hills Baptist Church.
