He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Silver and Maudie Silver; his daughters, Carolyn (Danny Childers) and Janet Silver of Cumming; his grandchildren, Lauren, Chris Saxon of Canton, Dakota Richards of Jasper, Dillon, Sydney Horton of Dawsonville and Cassidy Horton (Dylan Brewer) of Canton; his great grandchildren, Evan Saxon, Noah Saxon, Jordan Richards, Carter Dover, Caylin Dover, Cooper Brewer and Iris Horton; his siblings-in-law, Betty Silvers of Jasper, Kathleen Biddy of Ball Ground and Herman Biddy of Ball Ground; and his wife Laura Silver.
The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be made to the Ball Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
